Learning and Growing Together in God’s Word

At Lexington Baptist Church, we believe studying the Bible together helps us grow in our knowledge of God, deepen our faith, and strengthen our community. Sunday School is a cornerstone of discipleship at LBC: a place to learn, ask questions, and build relationships as we explore Scripture together.

Sundays at 9:30–10:10 AM

Coffee + Connection follows before 10:30am Worship Service

We offer Sunday School classes for all ages: from nursery through senior adults.

Nursery care is available for infants (0–2 years), and classes begin for children at age 3.

Each class meets in a welcoming, small-group setting designed to help every person grow in faith and community.

Adult Sunday School Classes

Find a group where you can study Scripture, build friendships, and grow in faith.

Below you’ll find a list of our current Sunday School classes for adults. Whether you’re new to LBC or have been attending for years, there’s a class that’s right for you. Below are the 2nd Quarter Sunday School Classes being offered:

Loving God & Your Neighbor

Description: This class addresses the two greatest commandments in Scripture. 

Suffering

Teachers: Marion Nicely and Matt Schmoyer

Description: This class focuses on the difficult days and moments in life, showing how Christ can guide us through them all. 

Women's Sunday School Class

Youth & Children’s Sunday School

Helping the next generation grow in faith and love for God’s Word.

Nursery (0–2 Years):

Loving care provided during Sunday School so parents can attend an adult class with peace of mind.

Kids (Ages 3–5th Grade):

Bible-based lessons taught in fun, engaging, age-appropriate ways.

Youth (6th–12th Grade):

Discussion-driven study connecting God’s Word to everyday life.
