Finding Hope, Healing, and Community After Loss
At Lexington Baptist Church, we believe no one should walk through grief alone. GriefShare offers a safe, Christ-centered space to find comfort, understanding, and encouragement alongside others who know what it’s like to experience loss.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18
About GriefShare
GriefShare is a Christ-centered support group designed to help you heal from the pain of loss.
Through weekly video sessions, group discussion, and personal reflection, participants discover practical steps toward comfort, hope, and renewed strength.
Each meeting is led by caring members of LBC who have also experienced loss and want to walk alongside you with compassion and faith.

When We Meet
Our GriefShare group meets year-round with short breaks between session cycles.
We’re currently on a brief pause, but we’d love to connect with you before our next session begins.
Coming Soon: Online Zoom Meetings
We’re excited to offer a virtual GriefShare group for those who cannot attend in person. This online option allows you to stay connected and supported, no matter where you are.
What to Expect
Each GriefShare meeting includes:
- A video-based teaching session featuring real stories and biblical guidance
- Group discussion where you can share or simply listen
- A workbook for personal reflection and prayer
- A caring community that offers understanding and hope in Christ
Every meeting is confidential and welcoming; you’re free to join at any point during a session cycle.
You Are Not Alone
Grief can feel isolating, but healing begins when we walk together in faith and community. We’d love to welcome you to our next GriefShare session, in person or online.
